Pakistan offers significant room for companies that are prepared to build for the long term. It is also a market where growth requires businesses to navigate regulation, labour, tax, compliance and commercial realities at the same time.
SKP began in 1983 with project finance and business appraisal work for manufacturers in Lahore’s Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate at Kot Lakhpat. Since then, our capabilities have grown in response to the needs our clients brought to us, from market entry and corporate structuring to finance operations, restructuring, cross-border collaboration and carbon-market opportunities.
Our role is not simply to provide technical advice. It is to understand the environment in which a decision must work, identify the practical route forward and stay engaged through implementation.
Discretion is central to that relationship. Many of the organisations we have supported prefer not to be named, and we respect that. Their trust is part of the responsibility we carry into every assignment.

- 1983Founded as CAMAL in Kot LakhpatThe group began in Lahore, supporting manufacturers through project finance and business appraisal work.
- 1988Industrial localisation and project financeWork expanded into manufacturing localisation and finance-related mandates, including assignments connected with Millat Tractors and IDBP.
- 1993Multinational and institutional mandatesThe group undertook mandates connected with Bankers Equity and international companies operating in Pakistan.
- 1998Software and IT sector assignmentsOur experience broadened into technology and software-sector mandates.
- 2003International equity syndicationThe group developed further experience in cross-border and international capital-related work.
- 2008Karachi office and wider networkOur network expanded across Pakistan and internationally.

- 2023Strengthening the Pakistan platformThe group continued to develop its Lahore platform following the disruption caused by COVID-19.
- 2025BPO World Ltd launchedLaunched as an offshoot of SKP Group, BPO World Ltd provides managed finance and outsourced business support. SKP Consulting and SKP Carbon continue as specialist businesses.
